The Peace Lutheran College Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care programs provide a warm, safe, friendly, educational and recreational environment for children of school age.

The staff are caring, qualified and trained educators who provide a stimulating, inclusive and happy environment where children’s physical, emotional and social needs are met.

The varied programs are located in the OSHC Facility in the P & F Centre and are catered to the children’s age, skills and interests.

Outside School Hours Care commences each school day at 7.00 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. for Before School Care and 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. for After School Care. Vacation Care is also available during the school holidays and commences at 8.00 a.m. through to 6.00 p.m. each day along with Pupil Free Days.

The Peace Lutheran College OSHC is available on a casual or regular basis. Bookings are essential.

Peace Lutheran College OSHC is an approved provider for the purposes of the Child Care Benefit. To register for Peace OSHC, parents need to complete an Enrolment Form and provide family and child customer reference numbers (CRN).

The annual Registration Fee of $10 per family is to be paid when lodging the Registration Form each year. This money goes towards buying new equipment and materials for the year.

Quality of Service

Services covered by the National Quality Framework have been assessed and rated against the seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard and the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The assessment and rating process aims to drive continuous quality improvement for services and provide families with better information for making choices about their children’s education and care. The overall rating for a service is determined by the combination of the ratings achieved in each Quality Area.

Each state and territory Regulatory Authority undertakes the assessment and rating process. The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, ACECQA, is responsible for ensuring consistency in assessment and ratings across Australia, assessing services for the Excellent rating and creating awareness in the sector and community about the assessment and rating process.
