Little Lambs Early Learning Centre is a Long Day Care facility opening 10hrs per day, 49 weeks of the year and offering 2 Educational programs within the service.
We supply healthy nutritious daily meals, 6 educational performances and an excursion to Australia zoo or Underwater world each year inclusive of fees. We are very animal orientated teaching children the benefit of empathy, kindness and respect with our pet Oki the cat, guinea pigs, rat, turtle and fish. Our sustainability garden with aboriginal bush tucker is a highlight within the local Aboriginal cultural classes we have irregularly over the year and our inclusion to the school grounds and events is a great transition to Prep.
24 placed flexible program 3 to 5 years offering 2 to 5 days availability per child per week.
24 placed 4 to 5 years Government Funded Kindergarten program. This program will require children to turn 4 years of age by June 30th and attend a minimum of 3 days per week. It will be run by a Queensland registered Early Childhood Teacher and will be a great transition into the Prep year at GSLC.
Services covered by the National Quality Framework have been assessed and rated against the seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard and the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The assessment and rating process aims to drive continuous quality improvement for services and provide families with better information for making choices about their children’s education and care. The overall rating for a service is determined by the combination of the ratings achieved in each Quality Area.
Each state and territory Regulatory Authority undertakes the assessment and rating process. The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, ACECQA, is responsible for ensuring consistency in assessment and ratings across Australia, assessing services for the Excellent rating and creating awareness in the sector and community about the assessment and rating process.
